in the series carpathians We find ourselves in a paranormal world where the Carpathian race reigns, supernatural beings who are dedicated to fighting to the death against vampires, and in turn looking for their partner for life.

Although it is not surprising since this type of sagas with this same trope have been famous for many years, where vampires also play a vital role, as are the saga Shifters/Psi by Nalini Singh, the vanir saga by Lena Valenti – national author- or the saga The Black Dagger Brotherhood, by JR Ward.

Is this publication due to the rise that vampire stories have once again? During these months we have witnessed how vampire stories fill bookstores, such as the new publication of Jay Kristoff, The Vampire Empirethe reissue of the saga of Julie Kagawa, Blood of Edenor the famous Crave Saga, by Tracy Wolff, the new Twilight.

Even the manga world does not escape this new vampiric wave, or classics that are readapted again, as is the case with Interview with the Vampire, by Anne Rice.

Either way, Dark Promises, Dark Carousel and Dark Legacy arrive in Spain in 2023, specifically in April, June and September respectively.

While release dates are confirmed, we settle for the synopsis of the three books to warm up.

Dark Promises:

Gabrielle has had enough of battles, of wars, of watching Gary Jansen, the man she loves, almost lose his life when it’s not even her fight. He used to be a suave and very human investigator. He is now a brave and deadly Carpathian warrior with the blood of an ancient line running through his veins – a man Gabrielle still needs, desires, and dreams of with every breath he takes. All she wants is a life far from the Carpathian mountains, far from vampires and the shadows cast by the ruined monastery that she hides so many terrible secrets. But Gabrielle will soon learn that promises made in the dark can pierce her heart like a dagger.

And she’s not the only one looking for answers in the corners of the unknown…

Trixie Joanes has come to the Carpathian Mountains in search of her wayward granddaughter, fearing that she has been lured there by something unspeakable. In her place, Trixie has stumbled across the path of a desperate man and a lovesick woman on the run. And they are all destined for the lair of a mysterious ancient with vengeance in his soul and the immortal power to make bad dreams come true.

Dark Carousel:

The moment Charlotte Vintage walks into her club, Tariq Asenguard’s blood ignites. The former Carpathian had given up hope of finding his mate, but now he will do anything to make Charlotte his. What Tariq doesn’t know is that Charlotte is using herself and her best friend as bait to try to expose the bloodthirsty killers who have already murdered Charlotte’s brother and mentor.

Charlotte is familiar with Tariq. He is not only one of the richest and most eligible bachelors in the city, but he is also a renowned collector of old carousel horses, which Charlotte restores. Their shared passion opens Charlotte to trust him with her life and with the desire she can no longer control. But it also leaves her vulnerable to a centuries-old curse that will unite her and Tariq in a war against the enemies of humans and Carpathians alike…

Dark Legacy:

In a beautiful place hidden from the world, Emeline Sanchez tries to end the pain that has wracked her body since her horrifying ordeal in the maze under the city, when she was forced to exchange her blood with an evil vampire.

Now, it is his voice that haunts her… the one that calls her in the dark… the one that never lets her rest. And as the children she helped free from her clutches struggle to heal under the watchful eye of their Carpathian protectors, Emeline knows one thing: she must sacrifice herself to keep everyone from getting hurt…
