Wednesday 2: Netflix confirms the renewal of the series with Jenna Ortega

Netflix confirmed the renewal for the season 2 of the series Wednesday with a video in which the character played by Jenna Ortega thanks the fans for their attention and approval, underlining that it was a real “torture”.
The video retraces some of the already memorable scenes of the project with the young Addams at the centre, including the presentation in Lucca which took place a few months ago.

Following Wednesday’s renewal announcement, creators, showrunners and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said in an exclusive interview with Tudum.com: “It was incredible to create a show that connected people from all over the world. We are excited to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into Season 2. We can’t wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the bizarre and spooky world of Nevermore. We just need to make sure Wednesday didn’t empty the pool early.”
