Disney+ January 2023: the titles of the first month of the year

In the 2023and especially in January, there’s a lot to get excited about platform Disney+with all-new original series ranging from scandalous news stories (Meet the Chippendales) to new British comedies (extraordinary). There is also the return of fan-favorite series with the second season of Reservation Dogs, Star Wars: The Bad Batch S2the sixth season of The Residentthe fifth season of The Good Doctor (from January 4th) and much more!

New arrivals on Disney+ in January 2023

For all crime series lovers: it debuts in January Criminal Minds: Evolutionthe spinoff of the cult series criminal mindsthe latter already available on Disney+ with all 15 seasons. Also, the first thirteen seasons of NCIS LA will arrive on the streaming platform from January 18, while theJanuary 11th will also be available the highly anticipated nineteenth season of NCIS extension.

New original productions arrive from all over the world: The escapethe original Turkish series starring Engin Akyurekand the eagerly awaited second season of the French original series Les Amateursboth available on the streaming platform from January 4th.

Two expected titles


Meet the Chippendales is a true crime series that tells the scandalous story of Somen “Steve” Banerjeean Indian immigrant who has become the unlikely founder of the largest stripper empire in the world – letting nothing and no one stand in his way of achieving his goal.

The cast includes Kumail Nanjiani, Murray Bartlett, Juliet Lewis and Annaleigh Ashford with recurring guest stars from the likes of Quentin Plair, Robin de Jesus, Andrew Rannells and Spencer BoldmanBesides Nicola Peltz Beckham and Dan Stevens always in the role of guest star.

EXTRAORDINARY – from 25 January

Welcome to a world where everyone over the age of 18 develops a superpower. All except the twenty-five year old Jenwho feels abandoned. Luckily, her roommates – Carrie, Cash and a mysterious stray cat, nicknamed Jizzlord from the group – keep her from falling into a pit of self-pity.

Adrift in a big and confusing world, armed with only a little hope and a lot of despair, Jen begins his journey to find his hypothetical superpower. But in doing so, he may discover the joy of just being okay.

STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH S2 – from 4 January

When the new season opens, months have passed since the events of fireplace and the Bad Batch continues his journey in the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and enemies, both new and familiar, as they embark on a series of exciting mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

RESERVATION DOGS – from 4 January

From the co-creators and executive producers Sterling Harjo and Taika Waititi, Reservation Dogs is a comedy that follows the exploits of Elora Danan (Devery Jacobs) “Bear Smallhill” (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai), “Willie Jack” (Paulina Alexis) e “cheese” (Lane Factor), four indigenous teenagers from rural Oklahoma.

After the death of the fifth member of the Reservation Dogs, the gang began to steal, scheme and save money to fulfill his dream of reaching the exotic, mysterious and distant California. But after a promising start to their criminal enterprises, including the legendary theft of a Flaming Flamers potato chip truck and a few low-grade auto thefts, the plan backfires.
The gang breaks up and everyone tries to find their own way.

Three new titles on Disney+ in January 2023

KOALA MAN – from 9 January

Koala Man follows Kevin, middle-aged father, and his not-so-secret identity, whose only superpower is to have a burning passion for playing by the rules and eliminating petty crime in the city of Dapto. While it may look like any ordinary Australian suburb, evil forces, both cosmic and man-made, are lurking to strike the unsuspecting inhabitants of Dapto.

In an effort to clean up his hometown and often involving his family in his adventures, Koala Man he is ready for anything. He’ll do whatever it takes to defeat evil masterminds, supernatural horrors, or worse: idiots who don’t take out the trash cans on the right days.

LITTLE DEMON – from 18 January


13 years after becoming pregnant by Satan, a reluctant mother, Lauraand the antichrist daughter, Chrissytry to live an ordinary life in Delaware, but are constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan himself, who covets custody of his daughter’s soul.

WELCOME TO WREXHAM – from 25 January

In Welcome to Wrexham, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds they learn how to manage the third oldest professional soccer club in the world. In 2020, Rob and Ryan have teamed up to buy fifth-tier Red Dragons, hoping to turn Wrexham AFC club into a success story for the whole world to cheer on.

The problem is that Rob and Ryan they know nothing about football and have never worked together. From Hollywood to Wales, from the field to the locker room, from the office to the pub, Welcome to Wrexham will follow the intensive course of Rob and Ryan to learn how to manage a football team, also telling the story of a club and a city that count on two actors to give hope and bring about change in a community that needs it.
