As the wait is becoming very long, we review five other enchanted places that can be visited on Netflix during this month of September.

After a rather discreet first installment that did very well at the box office, good old Mike Flanagan took the reins of this second installment turned into a prequel and made it work thanks to a magnificent direction and a leading trio (Annalise Basso, Henry Thomas, and Elizabeth Reaser) that supported all the dramatic load of the tape.

The first installment of one of the most profitable horror sagas in recent years courtesy of James Wan and Leigh Whannel, who years earlier made themselves known with “SAW” and whose fifth installment is underway and will mark the directorial debut of Patrick Wilson.

Do not trust, the most terrifying surprise will jump when you least expect it.

Another of the clear examples that in national cinema we also know how to scare the hell out of haunted houses with a title that gave us a hard time in the famous Madrid neighborhood.

Manolo and Candela settle in the Madrid neighborhood of Malasaña, along with their three children and grandfather Fermín. They leave the town behind in search of the prosperity that the capital of a country in full transition seems to offer them. But there is something that the Olmedo family does not know: in the house they have bought, they are not alone…

Why focus on a haunted house when there could be an entire town submerged in something supernatural? Released in 2006, “Silent Hill” is probably the best video game adaptation ever made.

Christopher Gans captured, with certain licenses, the Konami franchise on the big screen that tells how Rose cannot accept that her daughter Sharon is dying from a terrible disease. Despite her husband’s protests, she runs away with her daughter, intending to take her to a healer. Along the way, she comes to a mysterious and deserted town, Silent Hill.

Sharon disappears there and Rose follows what she thinks is the silhouette of her daughter through the city. Silent Hill is not just any place. It is inhabited by strange creatures and by a darkness that transforms everything it touches.
