The most anticipated Netflix releases of 2023

Netflix has announced some of its upcoming releases for this year 2023. The platform is loaded with great releases, so we will show you some of the most anticipated productions of the year.

To open the list of recommendations, we must start by looking at some of the titles presented by the platform that will make us sit on the couch with our popcorn for hours.

The Academy Crimes

The Academy Crimes It is the first film with which the netflix platform open the year. Its premiere is on January 6 and it will be directed by American Scott Cooper.

In this comedy from Kenya Barris, a couple and their respective families examine modern love and family dynamics between competing cultures, social expectations and generational differences.

Your house or mine? this Directed by Aline Brosh McKenna and we will be able to see it on the platform on Feb. 10.

But when they swap their homes—and their lives—for a week, they discover that what they want might not be what they really need.

Bradley Cooper sits back in the director’s chair with his film Teacher. The tape does not yet have a fixed release date, although it is believed that It will be released in January this year.

Cooper adapts the life of the legendary Leonard Bernstein, composer, pianist and conductor, to the big screen. The film will guide us through the love story between the composer and Felicia, a story that spans more than 30 years.

The South Korean production is directed by Yeon Sang-ho, director of works such as Train to Busan or Peninsula. The tape will be released on January 20, 2023.

In this gripping sci-fi thriller, catastrophic climate change has devastated Earth and humans have fled to space havens. A war is raging there, and to end it, a team has cloned the brain of the mythical mercenary Yun Jung-yi to create the ultimate combat AI.

The director Sarah Spillane launches its third film on the platform on the day February 3rd.

Jessica Watson decides to become the youngest person to circumnavigate the Earth alone, without stopovers or help of any kind. During the voyage, she must overcome her great fear as she braves the most challenging ocean stretches on the planet. Based on a true story.

Netflix 2023 Releases: Series

We cannot talk about Netflix premieres without mentioning the series that is coming this year. We have new titles and the continuation of our most beloved series.

Copenhagen Cowboy

the miniseries Copenhagen Cowboydirected by Nicolas Winding Refn, will be released on January 5.

Copenhagen Cowboy is a suspenseful police series that narrates, in six episodes, the adventures of its enigmatic young heroine, Miu, who, after a life of servitude and about to start from scratch, travels the sinister landscape of the criminal world of Copenhagen. As she seeks justice and exacts her revenge, she runs into her archenemy, Rakel, and the two embark on an odyssey through the natural and supernatural worlds. In the end, the past transforms and defines the future for both of them as they discover that they are not alone, that they are many.

Vikings: Valhalla (Season 2)

The Serie Lockwood Agency this Directed by William McGregor, Catherine Morshead and Joe Cornish. It will be released on January 27.

You (season 4)

Season 4 of the You series will premiere in Spain on February 9. The production will consist of two parts of five episodes each. The first part will premiere on February 9, while the second will hit the platform on March 9.

Based on the bestseller of the same name by Caroline Kepnes. A brilliant bookseller meets an aspiring writer, and what begins as a peculiar crush turns into a sick obsession. Thanks to the Internet and social networks, he manages to discover the most intimate details of the young woman and get closer to her, discreetly and strategically eliminating all the obstacles (and people) that stand in her way.

The Bridgertons (season 3)

Netflix will premiere the third season of the Bridgertons supposedly in June of the year.

The Bridgertons‘ is a scandalous and sharp romantic series about the timelessness of lasting friendships, families finding their place and the search for an all-conquering love. The series, inspired by Julia Quinn’s bestsellers, also stars Golda Rosheuvel, Jonathan Bailey, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlan, Ruby Barker, Sabrina Bartlett, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh, Polly Walker, Bessie Carter and Harriet Cains. Additionally, Julie Andrews voices Lady Whistledown in the original version.

The Witcher (season 3)

Third season of The Witcher series, adaptation of the novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. Until now We only know that the series will premiere on the platform in the summer of 2023.

In this new season, Geralt will take Ciri with Yennefer so that she can train in the art of magic in the Aretuza fortress.

Unfortunately this will be the last season in which henry cavill of life to the famous sorcerer Geralt de Rivia. In the next season it will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth.
