A fun series: En Place (Netflix)
Synopsis
Stéphane Blé, an idealistic educator from the Parisian suburbs, finds himself propelled into the presidential race following a publicized verbal contest with a candidate.
The opinion of CNET France
With In place, we are dealing with a comedy that does not mince its words. Who loves well, punishes well, and it would seem that Jean-Pascal Zadie likes to tease France and the French. In this series, he humorously deals with the political situation of our country, using the absurd and the exaggeration to tell a story which, under its features of zany comedy, expresses a real humanity.
In In place, we meet liars, selfish, manipulative characters, but we also discover altruistic, generous characters full of hope for a better France. The series is funny, even if some jokes sometimes do not fly very high, but it is above all clever and rather well written. We get caught up in the game of the crazy presidential campaign of Stéphane Blé and we even come to think that it would be fun to see the rest.

The opinion of CNET France
If you like teen shows, ghost stories and the supernatural, then chances are Lockwood & Co.. please. This is a series with an effectively paced plot with characters as intriguing as they are endearing, and a world that reveals itself to be more captivating as you discover its different facets. The chemistry between the three main actors works very well and allows the viewer to quickly get caught up in their adventures.
Side scenario, if some sub-plots of the series are not the most thrilling, the whole is rather well constructed and keeps pace. The production of the show also highlights the strengths of Lockwood & Co. and gives this fantasy series a healthy dose of suspense and bite. The eight episodes contained in this first season can be watched quickly and without boredom, and at their end one can only be curious to dive back into this universe as soon as possible.

An offbeat series: Extraordinary (Disney+)
Synopsis
Jen lives in a world where everyone has superpowers…except her. In this initiatory, funny, daring and innovative story, Jen discovers the difficulties of making a place for herself in a world where everything is destined for you to be ordinary.
The opinion of CNET France
Extraordinary is a funny and unique comedy that constantly takes the viewer where he least expects it. The characters are as touching as they are exasperating, and we find in the writing of this show a certain authenticity which makes it a series on superpowers where the protagonists are far from being superheroes. So we have fun following their setbacks and the completely crazy adventures of Jen as she tries to find power.
It is finally the pangs of ordinary life that make all the strength ofExtraordinary, and the imperfect side of its characters reinforce the emotional impact of the most touching moments of the show. The eight episodes that make up the first season of the series follow one another without ever running out of steam and above all never lose an opportunity to surprise us and make us laugh. In the end, we have a series with a well-mastered concept that we take great pleasure in watching.
