When the second season of Bridgerton in Netflix, the public had an expectation to see further development for Francesca, the sixth child in the family. Although Stokes had an important presence in the first three episodes, she had to leave the production in the middle of filming due to her new lead in supernatural fiction. Later, it was learned that she would not return due to her next engagements and she would be replaced by another actress.

Lockwood Agency is the reason why Ruby Stokes will no longer be part of the version live action of Julia Quinn’s novels, and it will also become her first major leading role for the small screen. The episodes of the first season can be seen from January 27, 2023 on the service streaming.
