Has the series “Wednesday” already been renewed for a season 2?

Although it sometimes happens that the firm with the red N orders one or even two additional seasons even before the broadcast of a program (as was the case for Vikings Valhalla), this remains a fairly marginal practice. To date, the platform streaming has therefore not yet decided on a possible season 2 of Wednesday. Before knowing if it will give its agreement for the production of a new opus, it will therefore be necessary to wait for audience feedback and the overall performance of this new original vis-à-vis other content. In the meantime, it would seem that the Addams Family universe is large enough to consider many other aspects. The creators of the series have also expressed themselves on the question.

The Addams Family: still many more stories to explore?

Wednesday would therefore have a future and it is the creators of the series who affirm it. The character of Wednesday would therefore only be the starting point of a larger universe: the idea would be to develop other characters from the franchise. Another avenue of exploitation mentioned by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar: the Nevermore Academy: the school could thus serve as a breeding ground for new intrigues.

Wednesday: Tim Burton’s wish finally granted
